Carter James
Before joining TeamCivX, Carter graduated with a degree in Emergency Management from North Dakota State University. Carter got his start in politics working for Senator Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) and the passage of Article XIV which created the North Dakota Ethics Commission. Carter continued his work in various political campaigns which included Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s historic victory and NextGen America in Portland, Maine.
Carter merges his experience and expertise with an understanding of local communities. His approach is characterized by personalization and tried, and true methods tailored to each client.
Carter can often be found in the rock-climbing gyms of Long Beach or the beaches of Orange County. Carter enjoys all things involving the ocean, including his love for lighthouse history and open ocean sailing on his project boat.
